This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

Putting a 1 liter half-full plastic bottle on a glass table. Recorded with zoom h2. Edited with audacity. This sound is cc0 but i highly recommend that you include a link to this page when using it, to avoid misunderstandings. Http://farm9. Staticflickr. Com/8070/8213683889_517a10ef52_o. This is a "happy birthday to you" rendition to celebrate the 15th freesound birthday (april 5th 2020). The sound has been made by researchers of the music technology group of universitat pompeu fabra (i. E. Where freesound happens!), and voctrolabs. The sound uses choir synthesis technology developed for the trompa eu project. This means that what you hear are not real singers but synthesized voices generated by a computer! the score adaptation for choir is based on a score published in the choral public domain library. Hope you enjoy it and. . . . Happy birthday dear freesound!.
Single note sampled from a deckard's dream diy analogue synthesizer that i built myself. Deckard's dream (ddrm) is an 8-voice analogue synthesizer designed by black corporation and inspired in the classic yamaha cs-80. The ddrm (and cs-80) is all about live performance and expressiveness via aftertouch and modulations. Therefore, sampling the notes like i did here does not make much sense and by no means makes justice to the real thing. Nevertheless, i thought it could still be useful and would be nice to share. Synthesizer: deckard's dream (ddrm)factory preset #: 14note: c-1midi note: 0midi velocity: 16.
I was wondering how to make a glitch soynd since i was downloading a lot of that. Ended up making this beat type thing. ( needs compression). I recorded my self saying "how the f%%k do i make a glitch sound!?" i reversed the f word for censorship. Then it use the mix modulation function in caustic's modular synth to modulate it with a 909 beat & a 8bit synth sound.
Some generative wildfire sfx made with sunvox. The crackling sounds were made by taking some highpassed white noise, ring modulating it with some more white noise, and then using a noise gate to usilate the loudest 'crackles'. The rumbling was created using lowpassed white noise, and the wind was made by bandpassing white noise with a high resonance and randomly sliding the filter frequency. Everything was sent into a reverb and a stereo expander.
Format: wav - 24 bit, 48khzdescription:. A completely synthesised emulation of a fighter jet fly-by. Used ni massive to generate the sound and then processed with various modulations and outdoor convolution reverb. Note: the artefacts you hear in the sound is from freesound's own transcoding, please download to hear the audio in it's full unadulterated glory. -------------. This emulates the sound of accelerating to warp speed or some other crazy fast velocity. Originally a clock and pendulum, modified of course. (during playback, there is a chirping sound, but upon download, it vanishes when played. ).
Sounds like a laser going off, then a big rumbling explosion. Created in adobe audition using the generate tones to create a saw wave sweeping from 22khz to 20 hz, then reverbed and eq'd.
This sound is 50 ms, 2000 hz pure tone with double linear fadeout through it's whole length. Sampling rate of 8 khz is already an overkill (nyquist frequency is at 4 khz, while all energy of this sound is present in narrow 2 khz frequency range). Created with audacity for use with ardour 3, a free and opensource daw for linux and mac (http://ardour. Org).
Diy gate connector techno. My home made gate connector is fun to use for more then modular gate signals. Here we have a beat-ish in stereo. I use the gate connector as a poor mans stereo mixer. The sound is straight out from the modular.
